WHO ARE YOUR CLIENTS?

I work exclusively with parents who feel stressed out, overwhelmed and are weighed down by a myriad of responsibilities to themselves, their family and others, who feel ineffectual in many of the tasks they undertake and are simply sick and tired of leading unhappy lives filled with stress. They realize their inability to manage stress is unhealthy to themselves and to their families as well and desperately want to change. I help them reduce stress, prioritize, organize, and communicate so that they live more consciously in balanced and fulfilling lives.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER COACHES?

I only work with parents and I specialize in helping them with managing stress and achieving balance in their lives. Knowing firsthand the enormous pressures facing today’s parents, I created the Parent Stress Relief System™ to help guide parents step by step in making the long-lasting changes they need to live happier, more fulfilling lives and to be more effective at parenting and in all other aspects of their lives.

HOW WILL WE WORK TOGETHER AND WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM ENTAIL?

Working once a week by phone, we first customize the Parent Stress Relief System™ to meet your specific needs and work out a schedule for the 45-minute phone sessions to follow. During sessions, we work on understanding stress and learning stress reduction, organizational and time management techniques.  In between, there are simple assignments as well as follow-up and email support.  Phone consultations have proven to be highly effective and extremely convenient for clients with busy schedules. They are also the most cost-effective way for me to offer my services, allowing me to give you more of the help and support you need.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?

Many clients are surprised at how just taking a positive step in seeking help can reduce their stress.  Obviously the effectiveness of any program like the Parent Stress Relief System™ will depend to a large degree on the dedication and time given by participants. As we work on principles and techniques of stress management, prioritization, balance, organization, time-management and communication, you’ll find you are becoming healthier and more effective in virtually every aspect of your life. Just as stress can be a vicious cycle of destruction, stress management can help establish a wonderful cycle of self-care fed by ever increasing confidence and satisfaction.

HOW QUICKLY CAN I EXPECT RESULTS?

As long as you are committed to the process and completing assignments, you will likely notice results within the first few weeks, although many clients say just making the decision to positively deal with their stress has helped them feel better almost immediately. Obviously the speed and degree to which a parent experiences results varies from individual to individual, but in general the full 12-week course gives the time needed for long-term changes to be made.

I’M ALREADY SO BUSY, AND DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME TO SPARE. HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED?

As a parent, I’m well aware of how it often feels we don’t have time to do what we need, let alone adding something else to the mix. But it’s important not to be shortsighted when looking at a program that can dramatically change your life for the better by helping you reduce stress, manage your time better and be more effective and fulfilled in all aspects of your life. While your basic commitment is just 45 minutes once a week, the more time you invest now, the greater the return on your investment later. Of course, for the program to work, it needs to be convenient for your schedule, and during our first session, we’ll work to determine how much time you can realistically give the program each week.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WHAT YOU DO AND HOW DID YOU GET TO BE AN EXPERT?

Having been a parent for 10 years, I know firsthand many of the challenges we all face. Mine was not an easy transition into parenthood nor did it get any easier. With no readily available guidance or support, I began to teach myself how to deal with my stress, to take better care of myself and to incorporate creative systems, better communication and other coping strategies into my life. Eventually, my quest led me to New York City’s Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC), an internationally recognized and accredited program that teaches the latest techniques and methodologies from a variety of disciplines, all with the goal of helping individuals reach their fullest potential.

Since receiving my Life Coaching certification from the Institute in 2007, I have worked with many individuals in setting goals and reaching their full potential. I also teach the Paradox Process, a powerful technique used in identifying and eliminating negative feelings.

I am a firm believer that any circumstance or situation in life, no matter how bleak it may seem, can be made better if an individual is willing to utilize creative solutions and ready to make a commitment to do the necessary work for change.
